Rifling through Albulafia's study one day after dawn, (that is when Abulafia's class would let out and the Heavenly Hosts and their Netherworldly Nemeses departed to their respective tasks) an agent went suddenly incommunicado. He was retrieved half an hour later by a Special THRUST unit with a clean plate clutched in his white-knuckled hands. He was in a state of shock and could not speak for a week. When he "came to" he called it "bliss." Because there was not a single speck left on the plate, which had been licked clean by the operative, his stomach was pumped for clues.

The following traces were found:

2 cups (4 sticks) butter, softened
1 c. sugar
4 cups flour
1 package of chopped White chocolate
Some dried cranberries
one further ingredient that has still not been identified.

Further testing showed that the ingredients had been heated in a 350 degree oven for 10 14 minutes after being mixed together until light and fluffy.

The stomach pumping had also revealed 3 popsicle sticks and a shoelace, although tests show that those items were not heated up with the others.

The operative is convalescing. His recuperation is hindered by the fact that he has lost all appetite for other foods. The head cook at the base hospital has taken several stabs at reproducing the recipe for the poor sickly soldier, but apparently "can't hit the side of a barn" with his attempts.
